Fish and Game surveys show that Lake Wakatipu has the highest catch rate of all the southern lakes. so try boat fishing on Lake Wakatipu, Launched from a Queenstown gardens boat shed and are fishing within minutes.

There are some excellent fishing opportunities on lake Wakatipu, a relaxed trolling charter trip can provide for 1-4 anglers. For fly enthusiasts [1-2 anglers] we use the Wakatipu Drift fishing technique. This method suits beginners to advanced fly casters, it requires minimal physical effort, so how easy is that.  I have designed some special hi visibility fly patterns unique to this style of fly fishing. Also available are hunting safaris for red deer, fallow deer, waterfowl game birds etc.
